This test standard shall be used to determine the adhesion of self adhesive or fused deadener pads to coated steel panels used in automotive body trim. 1.2 Applicability. This standard is use

4、d to determine the force acting at an angle of 90, necessary to remove freshly adhered or fused deadener pads from coated test panels. 2 References Note: Only the latest approved standards are applicable unless otherwise specified. 2.1 External Standards/Specifications. 9、 of 4 Version : 5 4.2.1.2 The test piece shall be completely compacted onto the test panel by rolling to and for twice with the roller, and immediately tested to clause 4.2.3. 4.2.2 Method B. This method is applicable to self adhesive deadener pads after fusing. 4.2.2.1 Test pieces shall be adhered

10、to the test panels under fusing conditions after performed as clause 4.2.1.1 and 4.2.1.2. 4.2.2.2 The test pieces shall be allowed to cool down to +23 E 5K and then measured as clause 4.2.3. 4.2.3 Measurement. 4.2.3.1 The edge of the test piece shall be gripped in the jaws of the spring balance. 4.2

11、.3.2 The max force necessary to remove the test piece from the test panel, retaining at an angle of 90 to the test panel, at a rate of 20 to 50 mm/sec, shall be recorded. (The test panels shall be firmly taken by hand during test.) 5 Data 5.1 Results. The adhesion shall be recorded to the nearest 0.

12、5N/3cm as the arithmetical average or individual value of the maximum force recorded during testing with reference for test method. 6 Safety This standard may involve hazardous materials, operations, and equipment.
