10、st pieces wherever final shall be taken. Should suitable size or shape be impractical, other final coated part shall be taken as possible. 3.2.2 When procedure to 3.2.1 is impractical, specially prepared organic coated test pieces or slabs shall be used. 3.2.2.1 Size of Test Piece. (2505) mm u (1005
11、) mm u (1 0.2) mm. 3.2.2.2 Substrate. Metallic substrate to EDS-M-11XX. 3.2.3 For initial sample approval and arbitration purposes, at least 3 test pieces, and for routine quality control, at least 1 test piece shall be tested. 4 Procedures 4.1 Conditioning. The test pieces shall be tested immediate
12、ly after conditioning for below periods. 4.1.1 For Oven Dried Organic Coatings. 24 to 30 hours after coating and baking. 4.1.2 For Air Dried Organic Coatings. 72 to 96 hours after coating and drying. 4.1.3 For Components Received from the Supplier. test without conditioning. 4.2 Conditions. 4.2.1 Te
13、st Conditions. Deviations from the requirements of this standard shall have been agreed upon. Such requirements shall be specified on component drawings, test certificates, reports, etc. 4.3 Instructions. 4.3.1 The organic coated surface of test piece shall be wiped with the cotton flannel containin
14、g ethanol/water mixture (clause 3.1.5) and dried using fan or compressed air. 4.3.2 The test solution A, B shall be dropped onto the test pieces by one drop with interval of 3 cm and covered with a watch glass. 3.1.5.5 38 % Sulphuric Acid (H2SO4: 96 %). 3.1.5.6 50.5 % Deionised or distilled water. 3
