PURPOSE This standard aims at checking presence of interference between tires and chassis and body parts. 2. SCOPE This standard applies to all passenger cars and MPV. 3. TEST EQUIPMENT 3.1.
3、Steel ruler 3.2. Inside diameter gage 3.3. Vehicle lift 3.4. Portable lift 4. TEST PLACE DWMC Bupyong plant garage 5. TEST PREPARATION 5.1. Set vehicle weight to curb weight. 5.2. Test driver to be in drivers seat. 6. TEST PROCEDURES 6.1. Front tire (LH) wheel articulation measuring 6.1.1. Move the
4、vehicle to the lift. 6.1.2. Lift the test vehicle with the lift. 6.1.3. After removing all tires from the test vehicle, remove all springs. 6.1.4. After removal of springs, install only tires. 5、R CO., LTD. 6.1.5. Adjust the steering wheel accurately so that front tires will face forward (to be conducted by test engineer inside the vehicle). 6.1.6. Using the portable lift, lift tires to the top (to the point the test vehicle moves slightly). 6.1.7. Check presence of interference between the
6、 brake hose, stabilizer and other parts. 6.1.8. After checking, enter the status on the sheet. 6.1.9. After lowering the portable lift, adjust the steering wheel so that front tires will turn left to the full. 6.1.10. Using the portable lift, lift tires to the top again. 6.1.11. Check presence of in
7、terference between the brake hose, stabilizer and other parts. 6.1.12. After checking, enter the status on the sheet. 6.1.13. After lowering the portable lift, adjust the steering wheel so that front tires will turn right to the full. 6.1.14. Using the portable lift, lift tires to the top again. 6.1
