、VISED DATE: 2006. 06. 19 VERSION: 2 GM DAEWOO Auto & Technology 1. PURPOSE The purpose of this specification is to determine the durability of the reverse gear lock on the shift lever (RWD and FWD) 2. EQUIPMENT 2.1. Clamping board 2.2. Fixture to hold shift lever 2.3. Pneumatic operating device 2.4.
、 Air actuator to operate the release button 2.5. Air actuator to move the shift lever to N and R, to reverse and from reverse to neutral 2.6. Control unit with - preselect couter - temperature control 2.7. Box with heater blower 3. PREPARATION 3.1. Place shift lever and fixture on clamping board. 3.
、2. Install pneumatic operating device and air actuator. 3.3. In necessary, install heater box with heater blower. 3.4. Set preselect counter to required number of cycles (refer to item 5) 3.5. Adjust test temperature on the temperature control (only in connection with 3.3) (refer to item 4.1) 4. PER
、FORMANCE 4.1. Conduct the test for 4 and 5 speed shift mechanism each on 2 asm. shift mechanism at ambient temperature 3 asm. shift mechanism at +80 4.2. Adjust the travel of the air actuator to actuate the release button so that the release button contacts the stop when pulled up EDS-T-2216FATIGUE
、TEST OF REVERSE GEAR LOCK, SHIFT LEVER PAGE: 2/2 ISSUED DATE: 1996. 07. 10 REVISED DATE: 2006. 06. 19 VERSION: 2 GM DAEWOO Auto & Technology 4.3. Adjust the travel of the horizontal air actuator to move the shift lever to reverse 4.4. Shift sequence: After the release button is pulled up move shift
、lever to reverse. Pull release button so that the stop sleeve is just on the reverse gear ramp. Then push shift lever to neutral. The stop sleeve must slip off the ramp. 5. BOGY 5.1. Desired are 25,000 actuations of the release button 5.2. All 5 shift lever assemblies must fulfill the requirements of 4.1 and remain fully functional. 6. EVALUATION Upon reaching the required total number of cycles, or in case of a premature shift mechanism failure, all parts must be checked and evaluated for function, wear, cracks, deformation, etc. Test Setup
