This specification stablishes parameters for light alloy wheel Rim impact Test, used in passanger and commercial vehicles. 2- References. a) The kinetic energy ( Joule) is equal the potential energy referenced in the equation: Pe = Ke = mgh m = Mass (kg) g = Acceleration due
3、 to gravity( m/s2) h = Distance“ height “between wheel rim and impact mass ( m ). b) The impact cylinder must be 120 mm long ,50 mm diameter and 40 +/- 3 Rockwell C hardness. 3-General conditions. a) Three (3) samples are used for the impact test. b) The impact test will be performed with kinetic en

8、 equipment set up. a) The samples are assembled on devices . simulating the vehicle true assembling conion. b) Before starting the test all samples must be free from any cracks produced by the msrnufacturing process and must be dimensionally and metalurgicall y approved. 4. Specific Conditions. a) D
9、uring the test deformation of the whee! rim may occur. A crack less than or equal to 30 mm, or the sum of all small cracks not exceeding 30 mm are allowed. b) During the test no extraction of the material should occur. If this happens all wheels with identical characteristics will be not approved. 5

Condie Especificas. a) Durante o ensaio deve ocorrer o amassamento da roda, sendo permitido uma trinca menor ou igual a 30 rnm ou o somatrio delas igual ou inferior a 30mm b) Durante o ensaio no pode ocorrer arrancamento de material ern hipotese alguma. Se
