This specification describes the properties of injection moldable, mineral filled polypropylene copolymer, ultraviolet (UV) stable, pellet form material. 1.1.1 Additional Ch

Materials certified to this material specification may have additional characteristics, e.g., paintable, elastomer modified, etc. Possible additional characteristics are defined in GMW3013. 1.1.2 Types. The classification into groups is according to the different properties as describ

7、 specification shall meet the requirements of GMW3013, General Requirements for Handling of Technical Terms of Delivery for Plastics. 3.1.2 Requirements on Delivery. Important physical, mechanical and thermal properties that characterize the material are summarized in Table 1 and Table 2. Note: For
8、each product, the requirements to Table 1 and Table 2 shall be documented by Certification Statement according to GMW3013. 10、est specimens shall be accomplished per ISO 294 with the conditions for injection molding from ISO 1873-2. Test methods and specimen dimensions are also to be in accordance with ISO 1873-2 with the following additions: use ISO 3167, Type 1A, (GMW3221) thickness 4 mm for tensile and flexural properti
11、es. 3.2.2 All tests shall be performed on specimens 40 h minimum after molding and immediately following a conditioning period of 24 h minimum in a controlled atmosphere per GMW3221, Code A, unless otherwise specified. All tests shall be performed on unannealed specimens. In addition, test specified
12、 below or above 23 C 3 C shall be conducted at specific temperature using specimens conditioned at specified temperature for 4 h minimum. 3.2.3 The values specified in Table 1 shall be met by test specimens in natural or black; the values specified in Table 2 shall be met by integrally colored test
13、specimens. For integrally colored grades where other additive systems (e.g., stabilizer) are used, the impact values shall not decrease more than 10% from specified minimum value. 3.3 Chemical Requirements. All parts manufactured from molding compounds shall be resistant to the media they contact at
14、 their place of use. 3.4 Compound Properties. See Table 1 and Table 2. The following are also required for full specification approval. The minimum number of lots per test required is one in natural: Tensile Modulus, Poissons Ratio, and Stress Strain Curve at multiple temperatures, e.g., +23 C, +85
15、C, -30 C; and Multiaxial Impact Curve. See GMW3013 for the test procedures and parameters. 3.5 Performance Requirements. Performance requirements, e.g., flammability, fogging or resistance to odor, shall be specified on part drawings or in component specifications. All finished parts for interior ap

43、aws, rules, regulations and recommendations valid in the country of usage. 5.2 Language. In the event of conflict between the English and domestic language, the English language shall take precedence. 5.3 Inspection and Rejection. Samples of components or materials released to a GM material specific
44、ation shall be tested for conformity with the requirements of this material specification and approved by the responsible Engineering department prior to commencement of delivery of bulk supplies. A new approval must be received for any changes, e.g., properties, manufacturing process, location of m
45、anufacture, etc. If not otherwise agreed, all testing and documentation normally required for initial release must be completed. It is the responsibility of the supplier to inform the customer in a timely manner, without solicitation, and to include documentation of all modifications of materials an
46、d/or processes and to apply for a new release. If not otherwise agreed, all release tests shall be repeated and documented by the supplier prior to commencement of delivery of non-conforming bulk supplies. In individual cases, a shorter test can be agreed to between the responsible Engineering depar

For new product submissions, or when a change in chemical composition of an existing product has occurred, a complete copy of the Material Safety Data Sheet/Safety Data Sheet must be submitted in compliance with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) requirements or other country-specific MSDS/SDS requirements.
