、plicable laws and regulations. Note: In the event of conflict between the English and domestic language, the English language shall take precedence. 1.1 Scope. This standard specifies the dimension, test methods, and requirements for single-core cables. The standard is based upon and refers to ISO 6

、722-1. 1.2 Mission/Theme. This standard defines test and validation requirements for single-core cables. It also applies to individual cores in multi-core cables. 1.3 Classification. Single-core cables are classified by nominal voltage of the system where the cables are used, by the wall dimension o

、f the cable insulation, and by the operating temperature. 1.3.1 Nominal System Voltage Classes. 60 V cables intended for use in road vehicle applications where the nominal system voltage is 6.0 mm2, GM reserves the right to request the needle scrape abrasion testing for application where abrasion re

Test in accordance with ISO 34-1, Method B Procedure (b) (Graves angle test with notch on panel material). Requirements: Temperature Class 5 (175 C) = 15 N/mm minimum. Temperature Class 6 (200 C) = 10

、N/mm minimum. 5.15 Long Term Heat Aging, 3000 h. The test method and requirement is according to ISO 6722-1. 5.16 Short Term Aging, 240 h.
