SCOPEThis test method evaluates the efficiency of a purge solvent to clean away paintmaterials such as primer, basecoat, clearcoat and mono-coats.2. PANEL PREPARATIONUse a clear glass panel.3. 3、suring device3.3 Burette3.4 Oven - fan forced convection3.5 Holden standard solvent test solution- 10% n-Butyl Acetate- 30% Toluene or Xylene- 60% Xylene or Holden Reclaimed Solvent.4. METHOD4.1 Apply 25-100 micrometres (wet film build) of paint material on glass panelusing a drawdown bar. The dry f
4、ilm build will depend on the volume solidsof the paint. The minimum area of the panel to be covered in paint is100mm wide by 150mm long.4.2 Flash the panel off at room temperature for 5 minutes and place the panelin a fixture at a 45 degree angle.4.3 From a 25ml burette with the tip positioned 25mm
