SCOPE The material required under this specification is intended to act as a medium for obtaining good adhesion of polyurethane adhesive caulk HN 2152 to HN 2149 coated glass su
3、rfaces and for screening out ultra-violet rays which are harmful to adhesion. It shall be capable of being applied by brush or spray and have good wetability and blackout properties. 2. REQUIREMENTS 2.1 Drying time 1.5 minutes maximum NOTE: Glass that has been primed shall be used within 90 days pro
4、vided there is no dirt or contamination of the glass. 2.2 Adhesion characteristics The primer shall adhere to HN 2149 coated glass surfaces and to polyurethane adhesive caulk in such a way that a cohesive failure of the cured polyurethane will result when tested in conformance with Specification HN
5、2152. 2.3 Density The density of this adhesive shall be set at the time of approval and will become a part of this specification. It shall not vary more than 25 g/l. NOTE: Primer must be thoroughly agitated prior to use. 2.4 Storage Stability (GM9763P) 2.4.1. Elevated temperature stability As shippe
6、d, the adhesive must be capable of withstanding a temperature of 55C for 72 h. 2.4.2 Low temperature stability As shipped, the adhesive must be capable of withstanding three cycles of the following cycle schedule: 17 h at -30C; 7 h at -25C.ABN 84 006 893 232 GM Holden Limited Engineering Department
