(The future of this Recom-mendation will take into account the evolution of ITU-T Recommendation J.115.) APPENDIX 1 Summary of ITU-T Recommendation J.115
4、 Interaction channel using the global system for mobile communications This Recommendation is the baseline specification for provision of an interaction channel using the global system for mobile communications (GSM), as defined by the European Digital Video Broadcast project. This terrestrial inter
5、action channel is applicable to satellite, cable, MATV, SMATV, terrestrial, microwave or any other future broadcasting or distribution system. A GSM infrastructure can support the implementation of the interaction channel for broadcasting systems, by providing a wireless bidirectional path between t
6、he user terminal and an infrastructure connecting to the service provider. GSM is a wireless access technology which constitutes the whole or part of the interaction network it may be complemented with another network to reach the service provider (commonly PSTN/ISDN). _ * GSM is a land mobile communication system originally standardized by the European Telecommuni-cations Standards Institute (ETSI).
