E.232CHARGING FOR CALLS TO SUBSCRIBERS STATION CONNECTEDEITHER TO THE ABSENT SUBSCRIBERS SERVICE OR TO ADEVICE SUBSTITUTING A SUBSCRIBER IN HIS ABSENCE1 When a subscribers line is connected to the absent subscribers service or to a device which answers
6、 thetelephone in the subscribers absence (and may possibly record a message or exchange data) the absent subscribersservice or the device is assumed to be equivalent to a person answering for the subscriber at the latters express wish.The call shall therefore be set up and charged in the normal mann
7、er.1.1 Station callsFor station calls, charging takes effect on receipt of an answer: from the absent subscribers service, or from a device substituting a subscriber in his absence.1.2 Personal callsThe caller is informed that the line is connected to the absent subscribers service or to a device substituting thecalled party in his absence. If he accepts the call he is charged on the basis of duration and the special charge for apersonal call is levied. If he does not accept the call, no charge is levied.2 This Recommendation applies to manual, semiautomatic and automatic services.
