5、ecommunication lines.The CCITT has issued a manual entitled The preservation of wooden poles carrying overheadtelecommunication lines, ITU, Geneva, 1974, with a view to providing Administrations, particularly those whosenetworks are not yet fully developed, with some information on impregnation processes.This manual is based on a first draft drawn up in 1968-1972 by the Argentine Administration amended andcompleted on the basis of information supplied by the Administrations of Australia, Austria, Chile, France, Italy,Federal Republic of Germany, United Kingdom and Switzerland.
