6、th cdma2000 Access Network Summary Recommendation ITU-T Q.1742.7 associates the published core network standards from the regional standards development organizations (SDOs) with those 3GPP2 specifications that were approved as of 30 June 2008 for the IMT-2000 Family Member “ANSI-41 evolved Core Net

7、work with cdma2000 Access Network.“ 3GPP2 specifications that were approved as of 17 July 2001 were associated with the published core network standards from the regional standards development organizations in Recommendation ITU-T Q.1742.1. 3GPP2 specifications that were approved as of 11 July 2002

8、were associated with the published core network standards from the regional standards development organizations in Recommendation ITU-T Q.1742.2. 3GPP2 specifications that were approved as of 30 June 2003 were associated with the published core network standards from the regional standards developme

9、nt organizations in Recommendation ITU-T Q.1742.3. 3GPP2 specifications that were approved as of 30 June 2004 were associated with the published core network standards from the regional standards development organizations in Recommendation ITU-T Q.1742.4. 3GPP2 specifications that were approved as o

The radio interface and radio access network and standards from the SDOs for this IMT-2000 Family Member are associated in Recommendation ITU-R M.1457-6. The associations for other IMT-2000 Family Members are identified in the

12、 ITU-T Q.174x-series Recommendation. This Recommendation combines and associates the regional standards for the core network of this IMT-2000 Family Member into a global Recommendation. ITU-T Q.1742.7 (10/2008) FOREWORD The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is the United Nations specialized agency in the field of telecommunications, information and communi

14、cation technologies (ICTs). The ITU Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) is a permanent organ of ITU. ITU-T is responsible for studying technical, operating and tariff questions and issuing Recommendations on them with a view to standardizing telecommunications on a worldwide basis. The

15、World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA), which meets every four years, establishes the topics for study by the ITU-T study groups which, in turn, produce Recommendations on these topics. The approval of ITU-T Recommendations is covered by the procedure laid down in WTSA Resolution 1.

16、 In some areas of information technology which fall within ITU-Ts purview, the necessary standards are prepared on a collaborative basis with ISO and IEC. NOTE In this Recommendation, the expression “Administration“ is used for conciseness to indicate both a telecommunication administration and a re

17、cognized operating agency. Compliance with this Recommendation is voluntary. However, the Recommendation may contain certain mandatory provisions (to ensure e.g. interoperability or applicability) and compliance with the Recommendation is achieved when all of these mandatory provisions are met. The

18、words “shall“ or some other obligatory language such as “must“ and the negative equivalents are used to express requirements. The use of such words does not suggest that compliance with the Recommendation is required of any party. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS ITU draws attention to the possibility t

44、.1742.7 (10/2008) 1 Recommendation ITU-T Q.1742.7 IMT-2000 References (approved as of 30 June 2008) to ANSI-41 evolved Core Network with cdma2000 Access Network 1 Scope This Recommendation identifies the IMT-2000 Family Member; “ANSI-41 evolved Core Network with cdma2000 Access Network.“ This set of

45、 referenced specifications includes those 3GPP2 specifications that were approved as of 30 June 2008. The Core Network interfaces identified in this Recommendation and the radio interfaces and radio access network interfaces identified in Recommendation ITU-R M.1457 1 constitute a complete system sp

46、ecification for the 3rdgeneration mobile system for terrestrial usage of this IMT-2000 Family Member. It is the intent of the ITU-T that the references in this Recommendation are only to specifications that specify the network aspects of this IMT-2000 family member. In the event that a referenced sp

47、ecification also includes material that specifies any of the radio aspects of this IMT-2000 family member, Recommendation ITU-R M.1457 1, shall take precedence. NOTE The structure and content of this Recommendation have been organized for ease of use by those familiar with the original source materi
