ITU-T Recommendation 4.2957.1 Stage 3 description for additional information transfer supplementary services using B-ISDN digital subscriber signalling system No. 2 (DSS2) - Basic call: User-to-user signalling (UUS) AMENDMENT 1 Summary This amendment to R

8、ecommendation 4.2957.1 has been prepared to enable the transfer of additional information that is usable for the control of the operation of the Internet Protocol over switched VC connections. Recommendation 4.2957.1 defines the operation of the Digital subscriber Signalling System No. 2 (DSS2) for

9、the support of the User-to-User Signalling (UUS) supplementary service at the TB or the coincident SB and TB reference point of the user to network interface of the Broadband Integrated Services Digital Network (B-ISDN). Source Amendment 1 to ITU-T Recommendation 4.2957.1 was prepared by ITU-T Study

10、 Group 11 (1997-2000) and approved under the WTSC Resolution 1 procedure on 3 December 1999. ITU-T Q.2957.1/Amd.l(12/1999) 1 FOREWORD The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is the United Nations specialized agency in the field of telecommunications. The ITU Telecommunication Standardization

11、 Sector (ITU-T) is a permanent organ of ITU. ITU-T is responsible for studying technical, operating and tariff questions and issuing Recommendations on them with a view to standardizing telecommunications on a worldwide basis. The World Telecommunication Standardization Conference (WTSC), which meet

12、s every four years, establishes the topics for study by the ITU-T study groups which, in turn, produce Recommendations on these topics. The approval of ITU-T Recommendations is covered by the procedure laid down in WTSC Resolution 1. In some areas of information technology which fall within ITU-Ts p

13、urview, the necessary standards are prepared on a collaborative basis with IS0 and IEC. NOTE In this Recommendation, the expression “Administration“ is used for conciseness to indicate both a telecommunication administration and a recognized operating agency. This amendment includes an additional reference, modification of the format and the coding of User-to-User information element, and the new a
