6、rofiles CORRIGENDUM 1 Summary This corrigendum corrects defects identified in ITU-T Q.831 (1997). It includes a table providing the relation between the defects and the corrections. These corrections are specified as changes to existing clauses of ITU-T Q.83 1 (1997). Source Corrigendum 1 to ITU-T R

ITU-T 0.831/Cor.l 03/2001) i FOREWORD The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is the United Nations specialized agency in the field of telecommunications.

8、 The ITU Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) is a permanent organ of ITU. ITU-T is responsible for studying technical, operating and tariff questions and issuing Recommendations on them with a view to standardizing telecommunications on a worldwide basis. The World Telecommunication Sta

9、ndardization Assembly (WTSA), which meets every four years, establishes the topics for study by the ITU-T study groups which, in turn, produce Recommendations on these topics. The approval of ITU-T Recommendations is covered by the procedure laid down in WTSA Resolution 1. In some areas of informati

10、on technology which fall within ITU-Ts purview, the necessary standards are prepared on a collaborative basis with IS0 and IEC. NOTE In this Recommendation, the expression “Administration“ is used for conciseness to indicate both a telecommunication administration and a recognized operating agency.

This corrigendum replaces the Implementors Guide as the authoritative source. However, the defects corrected in this corrigendum will b

16、e reflected in the Implementors Guide until this corrigendum has been published. Additional defects and resolutions will again be recorded in the Implementors Guide and finally be published in an additional corrigendum or a revision of ITU-T Q.83 1.
