In this condition, the tubing is used for the bulk of mechanical applications requiring moderate ductility, good finish, and little or no cold forming. When tubes are to be expanded, sharply bent or subject to other cold forming, a full anneal can be specified. This treatment greatly reduces the hardness and strength of the tubing.
