5、fications reference this specification for certification to FMVSS 302 requirements and/or to the School Bus Seat Upholstery Fire Block Test as described in the latest version of the National School Transportation Specifications and Procedures publication. 2.0 SCOPE This specification covers general
6、and compliance requirements. 2.1 Restricted Chemical Substances Effective January 1, 2007, all product supplied to the requirements of this specification must comply with the requirements of the CEMS B-50 specification. 3.0 REFERENCE DOCUMENTS Unless otherwise specified the latest issue of all refer

8、souri State University, Humphreys Suite 201 Warrenburg, MO 64093 4.0 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS Other NAVISTAR specifications which refer to this specification include materials which must comply with FMVSS-302 or the School Bus Seat Fire Block Test. Those materials shall meet all requirements of Federal
9、Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 302 - Flammability of Interior Materials, and all requirements of SAE J369 - Flammability of Polymeric Interior Materials; and the School Bus Seat Fire Block Test, and with the applicable codes of each state or province, as applicable. 4.1 The finished composite must co
10、nform to and be certified to meet all requirements of FMVSS-302. 12、mposite which are 100% bonded together are not specifically required to demonstrate flammability resistance when tested separately as individual parts, however; the bonded composite must demonstrate the required flammability resistance. 4.2 Compliance Requirements Supplier shall provide proof of com
13、pliance by submission of compliance test reports. The test report or the report cover letter shall follow the report format described in TMS-9543. The report should be addressed to the Director of Body Engineering (see address below). A new compliance test report shall be generated for any significa
14、nt manufacturing process or material changes. In addition to requirements set forth by FMVSS 302 and/or SAE J 369, and/or the School Bus Seat Fire Block Test, the report will include the following information: 4.2.1 Complete identification of materials tested 4.2.2 Test conditions 4.2.3 Test results
