Specification and procurement documents for Super 8mm motion picture projectors, cameras, and associated film handling equipment shall specify that all such equipment shall be compatible with Super 8mm film conforming
4、to the require- ments of this standard. 53. Requirements. Picture format, sound format, and sound synchronization of Super Ern motion picture films shall conform to the applicable provisions of the following American National Standards of the issue in effect on date of invitation for bids. When a Federal agency considers that this standard does not provide for its essential needs, written re
7、quest for changing or adding to the standard, supported by adequate justification, shall be sent to the Administration. The justifi- cation shall explain wherein the standard does not provide for essential needs. The request shall be sent in duplicate to the General Services Administration, Federal
8、Supply Service, Mechanical and Electrical Division, Washington, DC 20406. The Adminis- tration will determine the appropriate action to be taken and will notify the agency. S5. Conflict with referenced specifications. Where the requirements stated in this standard conflict with any requirement in a
9、referenced specification, the requirements of the standard shall apply. Nature of conflict between the standard and the referenced specification shall be submitted in duplicate to the General Services Administratton, Federal Supply Service, Mechanical and Electrical Division, Washington, DC 20406.
