AMENDMENT 1 _ - 5.1.l Level A. Rolls of desk top linoleum in width and length as specified (see 6.2) shall be in
6、dividually wrapped in waterproofed kraft paper conforming to PPP-B-1055, with all folds, seams and laps of the wrap sealed with water-resistant adhesive conforming to MMM- A-260. 5.1.2 Level B. Rolls of desk top linoleum, in the width and length as specified (see 6.2), shall be individually wrapped
7、in paper conforming to UU-P-268, grade B, with all folds, seams, and laps secured with tape. 5.1.3 Level C. Rolls of desk top linoleum shall be packaged in accordance with the suppliers standard practice. 5.2 Packing. Packing shall be level A, B, or C as specified I (see 6.2). 5.2.1 Level A. The des
8、k top linoleum, packaged as specified in 5.1, in quantities as specified (see 6.2), shall be packed in boxes conforming to PPP-B-640 (class 2, grade a) or PPP-B-601, overseas type. The boxes shall be closed, and strapped in accordance with the applicable box specification appendix, except that flat
9、steel strapping shall be type 1, class 1. Cleated wood boxes exceeding 250 pounds gross weight shall be modified by the addition of skids in accordance with PPP-B-601. 5.2.2 Level B. The desk top linoleum, packaged as specified in 5.1, in the quantities as specified (see 6.2) shall be packed in boxe
10、s conforming to PPP-B-640, class 1, or PPP-B-601, domestic type. and shall be strapped in accordance with the appendix thereto. 5.2.3 Level C. The desk top linoleum in quantities, as specified (see 6.2), packaged as specified in 5.1 shall be packed in containers to assure carrier acceptance and safe
11、 arrival at destination in com- pliance with the Uniform Freight Classification Rules or the National Motor Freight Classification Rules. 5.3 Marking, (see 6.2). 5.3.1 Civil agencies.
