When Liners, Assembled Unit (Dwg 1380921) are shipped as spares, one liner shall be neatly * * * folded and wrapped with MIL-B-131 barrier material and pa
14、ckaged in a Type I or Type II, Class 1 fiberboard box conforming to PPP-B-636. Completed package dimensions should not exceed 1717x8 inches. 5.4.2 Packing. One liner packaged as specified in 5.4.1 shall be packed in a box, wood, nailed conforming to the requirements of PPP-B-621, Class 2, Style 2, T
15、ype 2. Corrugated fiberboard liners shall be used to provide a firm pack. 5.4.3 Marking. 5.4.3.1 Special marking. Each pack shall be clearly labeled or marked “DO NOT STORE NEAR STEAM PIPES OR OTHER LOCATIONS WHERE TEMPERATURES IN EXCESS OF 125F ARL LIKELY TO OCCUR.“ The National Stock Number shall
16、be marked on each pack. 5.4.3.2 Normal marking. In addition to any requirement of the contract, packs shall be marked in accordance with MIL-STD-129.“ 6.2 Delete entire paragraph and substitute: “6.2 Ordering data. Procurement documents shall specify: a. Title, number and date of this specification,
17、 b. Production lot size, c. Test facility where preproduction and periodic production sample is to be shipped for evaluation.“ 6.3 Delete the notice at the end of 6.3. Add DD Form 1426 (attached) to the end of the specification. The margins of this amendment are marked with an asterisk to indicate w
18、here changes (additions, modifications, corrections, deletions) from the pervious issue were made.
