REQUIREMENTS 3.2 Vibration. - The assembled cartridge shall withstand vibration as pre- scribed in MIL-E-5272, Procedure XII,
8、 without evidence of any disintegration of the primer, igniter or propellant or derangement of any component. 3.3 c - 6053 9. Protective finish.- Protective finish shall be in accordance with MIL- 3.4 Physical properties. - Physical properties required by the drawing shall be uniform throughout the
9、part within specified tolerances. all alloy steel parts shall be achieved by quenching and tempering. Requirements for 3.5 Functional. 3.5.1 The cartridge shall not fail to fire, 3.5.2 Ballistics.- The cartridge when assembled in an M5Al Catapult shall propell a 300 pound weight vertically and shall

21、 be made that the sealant has been applied for the full length of the joining surfaces at the junction of the sealing disc and case sidewall and that the propellant cavity is free of sealant. 4.4.6 punct ional 4.4.6.1 Ballistics.- The cartridges shall be loaded into an acceptable M5Al Catapult, divi
22、ded into three equal groups and temper- ature conditioned in accordance with Table III. be tested within ten minutes after removal from the conditioning chamber. When this time is exceeded the catapult shall be reconditioned in accord- ance with 4.4.6.1.1. . The cartridge shall 4.4.6.1.1 Temperature

PREPARATIONS FOR DELIVERY 5.1 Packing and marking.-Packing and marking shall be in accordance with Drawings F8797308 and F8797303. 5.2 Data Sard.-Data card information shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-1167. 6. 25、plies at tube separation. 6.2 Ignition delay is defined as the time that elapses between the firing of the primer and the beginning of a continuous pressure rise on a pressure time record.
