In the selection of parts Arry 3.2.2 Tropicalization. Tropicalization of the equipment shall be effected by the selection

13、of fungus inert parts and materials, impractical, the parts and materials shall be treated in accordance with MIL-T-152 prior to installation so that overall spraying is not necessary. This does not apply to the equipment listed in It applies only to certain equipment listed in Tables V and V, and t

14、o the shelter and its accouterments. Where the foregoing is Tables I, .II and III. 3.3 Desiqn and construction. The electronic shop test instrument facility shall consist of two expandable shelters conforming to type I of MzLIS-2893i, -each of which shall be capable of independent transport and oper

15、ation as well as deployment with another identical shelter as an expandable complex. 17、ded shelter configuration (ESC), SSC equipment m shall consisteof electronic equipment, equipment racks, storage racks, storage drawers, small parts cabinets, work benches, portable work benches and ancillary equipment as specified herein. The objectives in design of the electronic shop shall be accessibility of equipment, ease of operation, operating conditions, crew comfort, adequate work area, and transport by aircraft, helicopter or truck, 3.3.2 Interior equipment desiqn and fabrication, The contractors design and fabricat

19、ion of the equipment facilities (mechanical and electrical) installed within the shelter shall be as specified herein, The contractor shall prepare equipment layouts for the two shelters which shall be designated shelter No. 1 and shelter No. 2. These layouts shall be submitted to the contracting of

20、ficer 90 days prior to first article testing, Unless otherwise specified herein, identical equipment shall be installed in shelters No, 1 and No, 2. 3.3.2.1 Equipment accessibility. Equipment installed within each shelter shall be capable of being removed from the shelter without major disassembly o

21、f the equipment and by the use of common hand tools. between assemblies shall be terminated by connectors or solderless terminal blocks to facilitate disconnection. Equipment not normally removed for servicing, repair, 5 adjustment, or for normal use shall be accessible from the front by such means

The method for equi

23、pment mounting (electronic and passive devices) s;hal% be in accordance with Drawing No. 8702893 and shall provide for changes in the form factor of equipment in order to aeconmodate equipment changes. Permanently installed supporting mounting structures confining electronic equipment mounting space

The work benches shall be shock isolated and provide shock isolation for installed electronic equipment. A portable work bench and tiedown construction shall be provided similar to

The work benches shall include facilities for installing drawers, rack-mounted equipment, and rermvable slide base mounted equipment. 3.3.3.1 Flexibilitv. 30、hall include equipment tiedown facilities along the entire length of the work bench top without the use of holes, mounting inserts or devices installed in the working surface. Five sets of tiedown assemblies shall be provided with each work bench. One tiedown assembly shall be capable of containing

31、a piece of electronic equipment 24 inches wide by 20 inches high and weighing 100 pounds under the transport conditions specified straps. Color coding for the 6b-Hz and 400-Hz power distribution systems including the power inpu

38、t cables shall be as follows: Black Phase A (T1) Red Phase B (T2) Green White Phase C (T3) Neutral or Ground (TO) . “3.3.10 Liqhtinq. The shelters shall be equipped with fluorescent lights, incandescent lights, and blackout protection. A minimum of 80- to 100-foot candles at work bench level shall b

39、e provided. All lighting .circuits shall be 115 V nominal, 60 Hz. The lighting circuits shall be protected by circuit breaker(s) located on the power control panel each shelter shall be by means of two rows of double tube shallow fluorescent fixtures with line filters, diffusing shields, radiation s

40、hields, and removable plastic covers. Each row of lights shall be controlled by a switch. The switches shall be located on the quick-connect/disconnect, double fluorescent lighting fixtures shall be provided with the capability of being connected into either shelters lighting system by a threaded an

41、d keyed connector. *3.3.10,1 Fluorescent lishtinq, General lighting of n - - blackout interlock box. 42、arate switches located near the lights. The light bulbs shall be of the rough service type and . shall be vertically mounted in shock-absorbing bases. In the ESC, quick-connect/disconnect wall-mounted fixtures shall be provided with capability to inter- connect into either shelter bench lighting sys

43、tem by a threaded and keyed connector. Separate switches shall be located on wall-mounted fixtures. . ?3 . 3 . 10.3 Blackout protection. To insure positive blackout protection, all shelter openings through the wall shall be made lighttight. Electrical interlocks shall be arranged so that if the outs

44、ide doors are opsned, the lighting circuits shall be broken. The shelters shall include a blackout curtain inside the doors. A neon lamp shall be mounted over the doors to give a small amount of illumination and the circuit shall permit the neon lamp to be left on continuously. Under blackout condit

45、ions, the doors interlock switches shall be operated to the “OFF“ psition. When the lighting circuits are broken, the operation of any equlpnent in use shall not be disrupted. The blackout interlock and light switch box shall be mounted on the interior wall to the left of the doors as you enter. *3.

46、3, 11 Air conditioninq, Two air conditioners for each shelter shall be contractor furnished and shall be Airflow model PAC-2-Sl0, or equal, for a total cooling capacity of 30,000 British thermal unithour (Btu/h) , Installation shall be in accordance with Data List PZ101, except as otherwise specifie

47、d herein. All associated items necessary for the proper operation and installation o the two air conditioners shall be supplied, Both air conditioners shall be identical and completely inter- changeable. *3.3.151 Air conditioner. The two air conditioners shall be in accordance with Data List PZ101 a
