REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Materiais and components. 3

7、*1.1 Haterids. All materials cited on Drawing D1-5-3020 or on the subsidiary drawings shall conform to the specifications listed thereon, or to the specific characteristics set forth on the drawings. 3.1.2 Components. Ail components of.the fin shall conform to the specifications and drawings listed

8、on Drawing D14-5-3020 and subsidiary drawings. Ci4-5 -3021. 3,2 Assembly, The fin shall be assembled as specified on Drawing 3.3 Surface roughness. Surface rougnness, specified by symbol on detail drawings. shall comply with MIL-STD-10. 3.4 Preproduction. Prior to the start of reguiar production, a

9、pre- -production lot of fins shall be produced in accordance with this Specification for examination (see 4.3 and 6.1). . Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the perfor- mance of all insp

11、ection requirements as specified herein. otherwise specified in the contract or order, the supplier may use his own or any other facilities suitable for the perfomnance*of the inspec- tion requirements specified herein, unless disapproved by the Government. The Government reserves the right to perfo

12、rm any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to specified require- ments * Except as 4.1.2 Objective evidence. The supplier shall provide objective evidence acceptable to the contracting officer that the

13、requirements of 3.1 and section 5 for which specific inspection has not been pro- dded in this specification have been statisfied. 4.2 Classification of inspections. The inspection requirements specified herein are classified as follows: (a) Preproduction inspection (see 4.3). (b) Quality conformanc

14、e inspection (see 4.4). 4.3 Preproduction inspection. 4.3.1 Sample-. A preproduction sample of 500 fins shall be manu- factured usiq the sane methods, materials, equipment, and processes as will be used during regular production. 4.3.2 inspection procedure. 4.3.2.1 For examination. Three-hundred fin

15、s shall be taken at random from the preproduction sample, and .examined far conformance with the drawings and specifications thereon. z 4.3.2.2 Acceptance/rejection criteria. The preproduction samples, when examined, must.meet the requirements of this specification to be acceptable. The acceptance n

16、umber is zero. A lot shall consist of fins of one interfix number produced during one week, by one manufacturer, froia the sme materials, from the same drawings, under essentially the sane manufacturing con- ditions. 4.4.2 Sampiine 4.4.2.1 For examination. Sampling .shall be conducted in accordance with MIL-STD
