SCOPE 1.1 .Scope - The equipment cove

2、red by this specification shall be for airborne use and shall provide four.pilot selectable d-c voltage options of two levels and two polarities for use with electric bomb and missile fuzes. 1.2 Classification - The equipment covered by this specification shall consist of the following items : Type

12、cification makes provision for preproduction 3.2 Parts and Materials - 3.2.1 General Requirements - The parts and materials specified in the drawings and related documents for use in construction of this equipment were selected to ensure the fulfillment of all requirements of this specification. Any

13、 deviation by the contractor from the use of these specified parts and materials necessarily places both the burden of proof for the acceptability of the change, and the cost associated therewith, upon the contractor. requested from the procuring activity by the contractor and granted by the procuri

14、ng activity prior to submission of equipments for preproduction tests. parts and material deviations shall not be construed by the contractor to constitute a waiver of the performance requirements or any other requirements of this specification. 15、nstandard Parts and Material Approval - Approval for the use of nonstandard parts and materials shall be obtained by the contractor as outlined in MIL-E-5400. 3.2.2 Supplemental Requirements - In the event that the contractor proposes to alter $he equipment design delineated by this specification an

16、d applicable drawings, the following supplemental requirements for the selection of parts and materials are applicable. 3.2.2.1 Basic Conformance - Parts and materials selected fo? use in the equipment shall conform to the requirements of MIL-E-5400. Parts shall be selected from those parts included

17、 in ANA Bullein No. 400, unless the parts listed therein will not perform adequately in the intended applications and environments specified herein 3.2.2.2 Interchangeability - The equipment shall meet the interchangeability requirements of MIL-E-5400. shall be the standard for measuring interchange

19、tured in accord- ance with the drawings and subsidiary specifications listed in DL 67A24F1 and related lists, except insofar as errors of omission or commission on the drawings may be in- compatible with the requirements of this and related specifications. In any case it is a condition of final acce

20、ptance that the equipment manufactured meet all the per- formance requirements of this specification, and such acceptance test documents as may be applicable. Proposed changes, either to correct drawing discrepancies or to effect improvements, shall be specifically approved by the procuring activity

21、 prior to their incorporation. 3.3.1 Total Weight - The total weight of the equipment shall be as specified in the detail equipment requirements. See paragraph 3.5. 3.3.2 Reliability - 3.3.2.1 0perating.Life - The equipment shall have a minimum total operating life of 10,000 hours with reasonable se

22、rvicing and replacement of parts. 3.3.2.2 Rdiability in Mean-Time-Between-Failure (MTBF) - The equipment shall have a specified mean (operating) time between failures of 1000 hours as defined in MIL-STD-781 when tested and accepted in accordance with 4.4.3 of this specification. 3.3.3 Interference C

23、ontrol - The generation of radio interference by the equip- ment and the vulnerability of the equipment to radio interference shall be within the limits of MIL-I-6181D during steady state no load operation. not apply during switching operations or when the system is pickled. Temperature-Altitude for Class 2 equipment steps 1 through 6 only except that the 4 hours, 7l0C temperature exposure at ambient pressure of step 6 shall be modified to 4 hours, 7loC, at 70,000 feet al ti tude b. The equipment shall be operated during testing where specified in MIL-T-5422 and meet the applicable performance requirements of 3.4. verified at the-completion of each test.
