16、d applicable drawings, the following supplemental requirements for the selection of parts and materials are applicable. 3.2.2.1 Basic Conformance - Parts and materials selected fo? use in the equipment shall conform to the requirements of MIL-E-5400. Parts shall be selected from those parts included
17、 in ANA Bullein No. 400, unless the parts listed therein will not perform adequately in the intended applications and environments specified herein 3.2.2.2 Interchangeability - The equipment shall meet the interchangeability requirements of MIL-E-5400. shall be the standard for measuring interchange

19、tured in accord- ance with the drawings and subsidiary specifications listed in DL 67A24F1 and related lists, except insofar as errors of omission or commission on the drawings may be in- compatible with the requirements of this and related specifications. In any case it is a condition of final acce
20、ptance that the equipment manufactured meet all the per- formance requirements of this specification, and such acceptance test documents as may be applicable. Proposed changes, either to correct drawing discrepancies or to effect improvements, shall be specifically approved by the procuring activity
21、 prior to their incorporation. 3.3.1 Total Weight - The total weight of the equipment shall be as specified in the detail equipment requirements. See paragraph 3.5. 3.3.2 Reliability - 3.3.2.1 0perating.Life - The equipment shall have a minimum total operating life of 10,000 hours with reasonable se
22、rvicing and replacement of parts. 3.3.2.2 Rdiability in Mean-Time-Between-Failure (MTBF) - The equipment shall have a specified mean (operating) time between failures of 1000 hours as defined in MIL-STD-781 when tested and accepted in accordance with 4.4.3 of this specification. 3.3.3 Interference C
