Permanent marking shall be as specified in 3.6.
33、2.1and 3.6.2.2.3.6.2.1 Mamet frame. The contractors serial number shall be stamped onthe housing which supports the stator laminations.3.6.2.2 Rotors. Markinga on rotors shall identify the manufacturer, style,and type of generator. The serial number of the rotor shall be stamped on theshaft at the e
34、nd opposite to the prime mover.3.7 Interchangeability. In no case shall parts be physically interchange-able or reversible unleaa such parts are also interchangeable or reversible withregard to function, performance and strength.3.8 Workmansh. Workmanship shall be in accordance with requirement 9 of
35、MIL-STD-454.4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS4.1 ResDonsibilitv for insnectioq. Unless othervise specified in thecontract or purchase order, the contractor is responsible for the performance ofall inspection requirements (examinations and tests) as specified herein. Exceptas otherwise specified in the
36、 contract or purchase order, the contractor may usehis own or any other facilities suitable for the performance of the inspectionrequirements specified herein, unless disapproved by the Government. TheGovernment reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in thisspecification wher
37、e such inspections are deemed necessary to ensure supplies andservices conform to prescribed requirements.4.1.1 esuonsibilitv for compliance. All items shall meet all requirementsof sections 3 and 5. The inspection set forth in this specification shall becomea part of the contractors overall inspect
38、ion system or quality program (see 6.3).The absence of any inspection requirements in the specification shall not relievethe contractor of the responsibility of ensuring that all products or suppliessubmitted to the Government for acceptance comply with all requirements of thecontract. Sampling insp
39、ection, as part of the manufacturing operations, is anacceptable practice to ascertain conformance to requirements , however, this doesnot authorize submission of known defective material, either indicated or actual,nor does it commit the Government to accept defective material.L.2 Classification of
