11、cedures of the industry. The 4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PVISIOIUS 4.1 Responsibility for inspection. Unless otherwise specified in the contract, the contractor is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. Ekcept as otherwise specified in the contract, the contract

The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to ass
13、ure that supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. 4.2 Inspection conditions. Unless otherwise specified (see 6.2), all inspections shall be performed under the following conditions: a. Temperature: Rom ambient 18 to 35OC (650 to 95OF) b. Altitude: Normal ground c. Vibration: None d.
14、 Humidity: Rom dient to 95 percent relative, mixE I. per 4.4.1 shall be subjected to the tests and examinations of TBLE I. Each sample selected 4.4.3.1 Ash content. The ash content shall be determined by the method of ASCM C 561 using material dried in accordance with ASIM C 562. . 4.4.3.2 Carbon co
15、ntent. The carbon content shall be calculated by subtracting the ash content from the dried sample weight. 4.4.3.3 Sieve analysis. The particle size distribution of the material by sieve analysis shall be determined in accordance with OD 18876, except the sample size shall be 25 grams (g) neighed to
16、 the nearest 0.01 g; the sieve series stack order shall be 100, 200, 325; and the sieve series stack shall be shaken for 45 minutes. 4.4.4 Rejectioii Criteria. If any of the individual samples, selected in accordance with 4.4., do not conform to the requirements specified herein, or the material is

Unless otherwise specified in the contract (see 6.2), packaging and packing shall be level C. 5.1.1 Level C. Unless otherwise specified in the contract (se

The packaging and packing shall be of such construction and mterials that the contents will be adequately protected against loss or con- tamination. (see 6.2). Nat

The material shall be able to withstand storage in well sealed containers in a clean dry location at ambient temperature. The shelf life of the material shall be at least five yea
