Preparation for Plating.- The arresting hook throat shall be D-4. pollshed before chromium plating. Chromium Plate.- Shall conform to the requirements for Type A deposit SFecif ica
9、tion P-44. D-4a. Extent of Plating.- The throat and areas adjecent thereto but not extending beyond two inches on the straight shaft shall be chromium plated. D-4b. Thicknuss of Plating.- The thickness of the chromium deposit on the throat of the hook shall not be less than 0.015 inch. D- 4c. Finish
