The ho1.d.-dow
16、n bolts, feet and main . structural members of e motor generator shali be designed in accordance with figure 1. The stresses caased by shock design loads acting in the vertical athwart- ship and fore and aft direction shall not be combined. The associated equipment shall be class Hi shock resistant
17、in. accordance with Specification MIL-S-901 and all applicable equipment specificatims shown in section 2. and control equipment shall be designed to withstand externally excited vibration type I as specified in Standard MIL-STD-167. 3.1. 10 Parallel operation. - Motor-generators and control equipme
18、nt shall be suitable for parallel operation when generating either il. c. or d. c. power. Parallel operation shall be as follows: 3.1.9 Vibration. - All parts and the complete structure of the motor-generator (a) The , c. generators shall operate in parallel in accordance with kv. -a. load (reactive
19、 power) division and circulating current requirements of Specification MIL-R-2729 and in accordance with the following kw load (active power) division requirements: The actual kw. load of any genera- tor expressed as a percentage of its continuous kw. rating shall not differ from total kw. load expr
20、essed as a percent- age of the total coztinuous kw. raiing of all connected generators by more than 10 percent. The kw. and kv. -a. load sharing requirements specified herein apply for input voltage variation within the specified limit. (b) When the d. c. generators operate in parallel without the v
21、oltage regulators under load condition varying from 20 per- cent to 100 percent rated load, and varying d. c, voitage from 270 to 355 volts the difference in current supplied by generator shall not exceed 15 percent of the rated load cur- rent of th connected generators. When the d. c. genera- tors
22、operate in parallel with the voltage regulators under load condifians varying from 20 percent to 100 percent rated load and varying d. c. voltage from 270 to 355 volts . the difference in current supplied by my one d. c. genera- tor from that supplied by the other generator shall not exceed 7. 5 per

34、10 Resistors. - except as otherwise approved by bureau or agency concerned. 3.11 Switchboard mounted components. - The following components used in conjunction with a. c. and d, c. regulators and controls shall be mounted remote to regulator enclosures and shall be suitable for switchboard mounting:
35、 Resistors shall conform to Specification ML-R-15109 (a) A. c, and d. c. regulator adjusting rheostats. (b) Manual a. c. voltage adjusting rheostat. (c) Manual d. c. voltage (speed) adjusting rheostat. (d) Transfer switches. (e) Current transformers. (f) Stop and start push buttons. 3.12 Circuit bre
36、akers or meters. - ing equipment shall not be furnished as part of the equipment. 3.13 Onboard repair parts. - Onboard repair parts for the motor-generators and associated control equipment shall be in accordance with the applicable speci- fication for each component part. However, no repair asmatur
37、es, field coils, or armature rewind material shall be furnished. One resistor, capacitor, and rectifier of each type used in the d. c. regulator shall be furnished in each set of onboard repaia parts. One of each size of transfer switch shall also be furnished in each set of onboard repair parts. St
38、andard Navy stock numbers shall be obbined for all repair parts, whether furnished or not, in accordance with the procedure specified in Specification MIL-R- 15137, except that the reproducible copy of NAVSHIPS 4372 and 43728 shall be submitted within 10 days after .all equipment has been released f
39、or manufacture. A single copy of NAVSRIPS 4372 with additional copies of NAVSHIPS 4372A as necessary shall be submitted and list all replacement parts for the complete power supply. Submission of separate NAVSHIPS 4372 forms for each major component or piecemeal submission of any of these forms will
40、 not be acceptable. Master drawings shall be type I in accordance with Speci- fication MIL-D-963 and shall contain information required by the applicable equip- ment specifications. The d. c. regulator drawing shall contain the same informa- tio-n as required for voltage regulators by Specification
41、MIL-R-2729. In addition the contractor shall furnish -an installation drawing for the motor-generator and control equipment. 46、d between 210 and 355 volts by means of the regulator adjusting rheostat to determine compliance with 3.9.2. 4.2.4. 3.11 Recovery. - With the d. c. generator operating at rated speed, rated had and at Ta load of 140 kw. shall be suddenly removed without any adjustment to speed z)r voltage.
