Flowmeters, packaged as specified (see 6.2.1), shall be packed in snug-fitting, wood-cleated fiberboard, wood-cleated plywood, nailed wood,
16、or fiberboard boxes conforming to PPP-B-591 (class I), PPP-E-601 (domzstic type), PPP-B-621 (class i), or PP-B-636 (domestic class), respectively, at the box specification or appendix thereto. The gross weight of wood or wood-cleated boxes shall not exceed 200 pounds; fiber boxes shall not exceed th
17、e weight limitations of the applicable box specification. Wood or wood-cleated boxes ex- ceeding 200 pounds shall be modified by the addition of nominal 2 by 4 inch wood skids in accordance with PPP-B-621. option of the contractor. Invitations for bids should provide that the Government reserves the right to waive the requirement or samples for first article inspection as to those bidders offering a product which has been pre- viously acquired or
