13、wing environments. 3.2.2.1 High temperature. The motor shall withstand exposure to a high temperature of 74 degrees Celsius (OC) for 48 consecutive hours. 3:2.2,2 Low temperature. The motor shall withstand exposure to low temperature of -48OC Tor 24 consecutive hours. 3.2.2.3 Vibration. The motor sh
14、all withstand exposure to the vibra- tion schedule specified in Figure 3 in each of three mutually perpendic- ular.axes in accordance with 4.3.2.3. 3.2.2.4 Mechanical shock. The motor shall withstand exposure to half sine wave impact shocks in each of three mutually perpendicular axes having a peak

The motor shall
19、 withstand exposure to sequential alternating temperatures of -48OC and t74OC. 3.3 Design and construction. 3.3.1 Production drawings. The motor shall be fabricated and assem- bled in accordance with the drawings, parts list, and other documents listed on DL X4900750, and this specification. 3.3.2 S
20、tandards of manufacture. 3.3.2.1 Working environment. Special working environments for the manufacture of the motor shall be as specified in MIL-B-85251. 3.3.2.2 Certification. When specified in the contract or purchase order (see 6.2.2), the contractor shall include written certification accompanie
21、d by objective quality evidence as defined in MIL-STD-109, that the materials, processes, and parts used in the motor meet the requirements of Sectiori 3. 3.3.3 Marking. Each motor shall be marked in accordance with MIL-STD-130, with the manufacturers name or symbol, part number and manufacturers lo
22、t designation. DL X4900750. The markings shall be as shown on 3.3.4 Cold gas spin-up. When operated on nitrogen gas such that motor speed is 2,000 rpm minimum, the motor shall operate smoothly with- out binding. 3.4 First artide. Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the cont
23、ractor shall furnish a preproduction sample consisting of 15 motors to the testing activity designated in the con- tract or purchase order for-first article inspection and approval (see 4.1.2.1 and 6.2.1). the same methods, materials, processes, and procedures proposed for pro- duction. Any producti
24、on prior to acceptance of the preproduction sample is totally at the contractors risk. Any changes irr design materials or processes used in the manufacture of the preproduction sample may be cause for resubmission of another preproduction sample for testing. The preproduction sample shall be manufa

As a minimum, the motor shall be manufactured, in- spected, and tested under conditions and procedures meeting the require- ments of 3.3.1 and as specified herein. in a manner that willensure
30、 compliance with all requirements of this specification and the assembly drawing. in or on the assembly drawing, fabrication and assembly practices shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-454, Requirement 9. 31、4.1 Rekponsibility for inspection. Unless otherwise specified in thi- contract or purchase order (see 6.2.1), the contractor is responsible foc the performance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order (see 6.2.1), the contrac
32、tor may use his own or any other facilities suitable for the performance of the inspection requirements specified herein, unless disapproved by the Government. to perform any of the inspections set forth in this specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure that supplies and se
33、r- vices conform to prescribed requirements. The inspection of the motor shall be classified as follows:
34、a. Preproduction inspections (see 4.1.2.1). b. Quality conformance inspections (see 4.2). 4.1.2 Special tests and examinations. 4.1.2.1 Preproduction inspection. The preproductin sample of 3.4 shall be subjected to the examinations and tests of Table I in the sequence shown. Group I quality conforma

43、ntract, this authority is vested in another agent of the certifying organization. The initiai certification shall be substantiated by 4.2 Quality conformance inspections. Quality conformance inspections shall be performed on each lot of motors as specified in Table II, in the sequence shown. 4.2.1 S
44、ampling. Each motor shall be visually inspected and subjected to a cold gas spin-up prior to its incorporation into a lot. sample shall be drawn from each lot for Group II Inspections of Table IT. The sample size shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-105, Inspection Level II, Normal Inspection, Single
45、 Sampling, and an acceptable quality level (AQL) of 1.0 percent defective. A random 4.2.2 Acceptance criteria. Failure of one or more motors in the .quality conformance sample to pass the Group II tests shall cause rejection of the lot represented. - 4.2.3 Quality conformance inspection report. When
