SCOPE 1.1 This specification covers static metallic cell rectifiers of 50O-watt, 115-volt. alter- nating current (a. e.), 400-cycle, three-phase or 700-watt, 440-voM, ax., 60-cycle th

13、alification.-The power supply equip- ment furnished under this specification shall be a product which has been tested and has passed the qualification tests specified in sec- tion 4 (see 6.2). 3.2 General features, 3.2.1 Each power supply unit shall be an entirely static device with rectification be

14、ing accomplished by means of metallic ce11 recti- fiers of the selenium type, Voltage regula- tion shall be accomplished by means of mag- netic amplifier type control circuits. This equipment shall be in accordance with the following paragraphs of Specification MIL 1-983, in addition to the requirem

20、neral information 8.3 Classifications. - The power supply units shall conform to the following: MIL-P-16192A Input L _ 440 volts, a.c., 60-cycle, three-phase (applies to the 700-watt unit). 115 volts, ax., 40-cycle, three-phase (applies to the 500-watt unit). Output -2S volts d.c. Capacity -500 watt

21、s, 700 watts, Service -A. Duty _-Continuous. Enclosure -,Dripproof. Ventilation -Natural. Shock -HI Insulation -Class B. Weight -6O pounds (500-watt unit), 150 pounds (700-watt unit.) Size _ 1400 cubic inches (500- watt unit), 3,500 cubic inches (700-watt unit). Ambient tem- Ripple -The ripple conte

22、nt shall be less than 5 percent at no load and at loads from no load to full load with the load specified as 50 percent motor load and 50 percent relay load. Transient Transient regulations (as stability. measured by an oscillo- graph) shall be not more than 10 percent when load increments of 50 per

23、cent full load are added to or removed from the rectifier out- put. Recovery of +he voltage to within plus or minus 5 percen shall occur within 1 second. Automatic The automatic voltage regulation shall be plus or minus 5 percent with change of supply of plus or minus 10 percent voltage for 700-watt

Switches -9To switches required, Fuse -NO fuses required. 3.4 Pilot lamp.-A pilot lamp in accordance with Drawing 9-S-5040-L shall be provided on. the power supply. This indicator shall be connected across the 26-volt d. c. output o

27、f the power supply. 3.5 Maintenance parts kit.-The mainte- nance parts kit shall consist of one each of all resistors, capacitors, control unit rectifiers, and power rectifier stacks. The quantity of kits shall be as specified (see 6.1). 4. SAMPLING, INSPECTION, AND TEST PROCEDURES 4.1 InsWction pro

28、cedures.-For Naval pur- chases, the general inspection procedures shall be in accordance with General Speci- cations for Inspection of Material. 4.2 Sampling procedures and tests to be required.-The sampling procedure for the various tests to be performed on the equip- ment shall be as follows: (The

The lot may include the entire contract quantity or it may

41、bethe pro- duction of any convenient time period at the choice of the Government inspector. Prior to presenting the lot for inspection, the con- tractor shall have subjected each equipment to the groups A and B tests, and shall include in the lot presented for Government inspec- tion only those equi

42、pments that have passed these- tests. 4.2.3.1.2 Samplifig for group A tests.-A sample of equipments shall be selected from each inspection lot by the Government in- spector in accordance with table , and shall I MIGP-16192A be subjected to each of the group A tests listed in 4.2.3 with lot acceptanc
