6、ith specific procurement functions should be ob- tained from the procuring activity or as directe by the contracting officer.) 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 General requirements. Unless otherwise specified in thc cwntrtct or order, :ill materials and treatments of materials and piirts used in hc manu- facture

7、 of the switch shali be in accordance with the requirements swcified herein and with the applicable documents listed in BuWeps LD 5405G2. order, preproduction samples of the switch shall be manufactured using thc meth- ods and procedures proposed for production. The sample shall be tcstcd as specifi

8、ed in Section 4 herein and is for the purpose of determining thtt, prior to starting prcuction, the contractors production methods are capiblc of yielding items that comply with the technical requirements of the contract. 3.3 Performance and product characteristics. The switch shall meet the followi

9、ng performance and product characteristics. 3.3.1 Insulation resistance. After being conditioned at II temperature of 75 plus or minus 5 degrees Fahrenheit (F) and a relative humidity of 75 plus or minus 5 percent for a period of not less than twenty-four hours, the insulation resistance shall not b

10、e lesa than 100 megohms. When the insulation resistance is measured during or subsequent to the environmental tests specified in 3.2 Preproduction samples. MIL-S-82529 (OS) 4.5 there shall be no temperature or humidity conditioning other than that re- quired by the individual environmental test and the insulation resistance shall then be 20 megohms mir .;mum. The test potential shall be 500 plus or minus 50 volts

12、 DC. The insulatior- resistance shall be measured between the following mu- tually insulated points: a. Case b. Each of the three independent normally closed circuits. 3.3.2 Electric21 continuity and circuit resistance. The three independent, normally closed circuit, shall be continuous and each ind

13、ividual circuit resis- tance shill be less than O. 10 ohm. . 3.3.3 Funztion. The switch shall maintain electrical continuity of the three indcpndcnt circuits at temperatures less than plus 165 degrees F and shall break continuity of these circuits within 12 minutes at a temperature of plus 240 de- g

14、rcos F. The switch circuits shall reiuain closed during vibration and thereafter the switch shall meet the perfor- mance and product characteristics of this specification. 3.4.3 Shock. 3.4.3. 1 Standby condition. The switch shall withstand shocks of 4Og peak magn

18、itude. fie shock shall have a pulse shape approximating a one-half sine wave having a duration of 5 milliseconds. 3.4.3.5 Operating condition. 3.4.3.2.1 Major. The switch shall withstand a shock of 2400g peak magni- tude in the direction shown in Figure 1. The shock shall have a pulse shape ap- prox

19、imating a one-half sine wave having a duration of 1 millisecond, Thereafter the switch shall meet the performance and product characteristics of this specifi- cation, except for the functional requirement of 3.3.3. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1

23、 Rcwpmsibility for inspection. Unless otherwise specifie in the contract or purch:isc* ordcr, the supplier is responsible for the performance of (ill inspcc- tion rcyuircmcnts as specified herein. Excepf as otherwise specified, the suppli- cr may utilizc his own facilities or :my commercial laborato

24、ry acceptable to the Governmcmt. The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspcfctions set forth in hc Rpecificiition where such inspections are deemed necessary to :is- suie supplicw iind services conform to prescribed requirements. 4.2 C1:issification of inspection. Inspection of th

41、 passing the quality conformance inspections of 4.6.2.1, 4.6.2.2, 4.6.2.3.1, and 4.6.2.4. 4.5.1 Test procedure. Subject the switch to the test sequence listed in Table 1. Unless otherwise specified in the individual test paragraph, the quality conformance hepection, as specified in Table I, shall be

42、 performed susbsequent to environmental tests under test conditions specified in 4.6.1. The mitch shall be subjected to a temperature of minus 65 plus 5 minus O degrees F for not less than 48 hours. The temperature sh

48、all be raised to plue 160 plus O minus 5 degrees F in not less than 2 hours and maintained at this temperature for not less than 48 hours. The unit shall then he subjected to room temperature for not less than 2 hours prior to performing subsequent tests, 4.5.1.2 Acceleration.
