The inner and outer surface of the tubes shall be delivered clean, free of dirt, oils, grease, acid, chips, carbonaceous material, free carbon, sulfur bearing compounds an

Contaminants such as sulfur or sulfur- bearing compounds, carbon or carbon compounds from lubricants used in forming, machining, or other processing and marking materials used for in-process identi- fication shall be remo

4、ved from the material prior to any heat treatment. Tubing shall be bright annealed in an inert or reducing atmosphere to produce a clean surface or cleaned after heat treatment.
