Ensure that any lashing around or through the telephone/distance line does not jeopardize the electrical integrity of the conduc- tors within the line. 4. Apply numerals to both sides of the distance marker. 5
6、 Attach flt, one cell (light) according to type of vessel. Red light to be attached to the leading edge of each of the tele- phone/distance line markers except for green to be attached to the leading edge of the 18 and 30 meter distance markers for DD or smaller vessels, 24 and 30 meter distance ma
7、rkers for larger vessels, and 30 and 43 meter distance markers for carriers or LSTs . For green lens on flt, one cell apply green enamel or green dye to inside of lens so that it will appear green when viewed from the outside. Care must be taken so that the coating is not so thick as to completely o
