REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Materials, parts and processes.- Materia

9、ls, parts, and processes -. shall conform to MIL-T-0023991 and as specified in 3.1.1 through 3.1.3. 3.1. I Metals.- Metals shall be either corrosion-resis-iant or suitably treated to resist corrosion under atmospheric. conditions specified in 3.3. 3.1.1.1 Aluminum.- Parts constructed of aluminum all

12、nal tube insofar as weapon loading, connection, and firing procedures are concerned. The training aid shall consist of a full-scale, individual ly operated, working mockup of the breech door, breech door locking ring and a portion of the barrel breech section of the MK- 63 Torpedo Tube. The torpedo tube shall be mounted on a castered stand and

14、 shal I allow for variation in bore height. The principle of operation of the various 3.2.2 Moving parts.- All moveable parts or operable elements of the training aid shall be constructed so as to reduce friction and pressure to a minimum, and shall enable easy manual movement of al I pa rts. 3.2.3

15、Breakage and deformation.- Construction shall be such as to minimize the possibi I ity of breakage and deformation of individual components and fittings during use by the instructor or students. 3.3 Reliability of operation.- The training aid shall withstand continuous classroom use and shall not be

16、 adversely affected in any manner during storage and transportation when under ambient conditions of temperature ranging from -13 to 125O Fahrenheit, and of relative humidity ranging *up to 95 percent. The training aid shall be constructed so that ,no f xed part, assembl es or subassembl es sha I I

17、become undesirably free. No degradation shall be caused in the mechanical performance stipulated for the training aid because of shi.pment, handling or storage. 3.4 Details of components.- The training aid shall consist of the fo 1 I ow i ng major components: (a) Breech door (3.6.1) (b) Breech door

QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4. I Responsibility for inspection.- Unless otherwise specified in the contract or

46、purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of al I inspection requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified in the contract or order, the supplier may use hi,s own or any other faci I ties suitable for the performance of the inspection requirements specified he

47、rein, unless disapproved by the Government. The Government reserves th.e right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services confonn to prescribed requ i rements. 4.2 Classification of inspection.- Inspect
