2、r and Control (AMAC) System A/A24B-4(V). d a Trakformer-Rectifier TEK-9/A24B-4(V) shall provide the power required for operation of the internal circuits of a nuclear weapon. 1.2 Classification - The equipment covered by this specification shall consist of one major item. 1.3 Associated Equipment -

9、This specification makes provision for preproduction 3.2 Parts and Materials - 3.2.1 General Requirements - The parts and materials specified in the drawings and related documents for use in construction of this equipment were selected to ensure the fulfillment of all requirements of this specificat

Approval of parts and material deviations shall not be construe

12、d by the contractor to constitute a waiver of the performance requirements or any other lequirementc of this specification a Approval for deviations. 3.2.1.1 Nonstandard Parts and Material - Approval for the use of nonstandard parts a-als shall be obtained by the contractor as outlined in MIL-E-5400

13、. 3.2.2 2 - In the event that the contractor proposes eo alter the equipment design delineated by this specification and applicable drawings materials are applicable. the foollowing supplemental requirements for the selection of parts and 3.2.2.1 Basic Conformance - Parts and materials selected for

14、use in the equipment shallrequirements of MIL-E-5400 e Parts chal l be selec%ed from those parts included in ANA Bulletin No. 400, unless the parts listed therein will not perform adequately in the intended applications and environments specified herein. 3.2.2.2 Interchangeability - The equipment sh

15、all meet the interchangeability requirements of MIE-E-5400. standard for measuring interchangeability sf all applicable units subassemblies , and parts. 3.3 Design and Construction - The equipment shall be manufactured in accordance-subsidiary specifications listed in DL 6SA28BE and related lists, e

16、xcept insofar as errors of omission or commission on the drawings may be incompatible with tRe requirements of this and related specifications. In any case it is a condition of final acceptance that the equipment manufactured met all the performance requirements of this specification , and such acce

17、ptance test documents as may be applicable. Proposed changes, either to correct drawing discrepancies or to effect improvements, shall be specifically approved by the procuring activity prior to their incorporation. The drawings listed in DL 68A28E1 shall be the assemblies 3.3.1 Total Weight - The t

18、otal weight Q% the equipment, excluding cables, shall not exGd 6 poun$s, 13 ounces. 3.3.2 Reliability - 3.3.2.1 -Stability - The equipment shall operate with satisfactory performance, continuously or interinittently for a period of at least 50 hours without the necessity for readjustment of any cont

19、rols which are inaccessible to the operator during normal use. Qperating Life - The equipment shall have a minimum total operating life o% 50,080 hour-asonable servicing and replacement of parts e requiring scheduled replacement due to wear during the life of the equipment, and the wearout life of s

20、uch parts, shall be determined by the contractor and submitted to the procuring agency. 3.3.2.2 Parts Provided by IHSNot for ResaleNo reproduction or networking permitted without license from IHS-,-,-MIL-T-S1768(AS) 3.3.2.3 Reliability in Mean-Time-Between-Failure (MTBF) - The equipment shall have a

21、 minimum of 6700 hours of mean (operating) Mme between failures when tested and accepted as outlined under the requirements of 4.4.3. 3.3.3 Interference Control - Tiie generation of radio interference by the equipment and the vulnerability of the equipment to radio interference shall be within the l

23、ng conditions shall be used to establish normal performance characteristics under standard conditions and for making laboratory bench tests. Temperature Alt i tude Normal ground Room ambient (25 - + 5C) Vibration None Humidity Room ambient up to 90% relative Input power voltage 115 + 1.0 volts, 400

24、- + 5 Hz a-c 3.3.5 Service Conditions - The equipment shall operate satisfactorily under any of the environmental service conditions or reasonable combination of those conditions as specified in MIL-E-5400 for class 2 equipment, except as modified herein. 3.3.5.1 Vibration - The equipment shall oper

25、ate satisfactorily when subjected to the vibration requirements of Curve I of MIL-E-5400. 3.3.6 Warm-up Time - The time required for the equipment to warm-up prior to operations shall not exceed O. 5 minute. 3.3.7 Input Electrical Power - 3.3.7.1 Operating Power - The equipment shall meet all applic

27、IL-STD-704. The power required shall not exceed the specified amounts. A-C Power (Three Phase), 115/200V, Category B, 1500 VA 3.3.7.2 Degraded Performance - Degraded performance will be permitted for voltage transients not exceeding 0.5 second during normal electric system operation. Operation shall

30、quirements stated thereon and in the following subparagraphs. 3.5.1 Function - The transformer-rectifier shall convert 115 volt, 3 phase, 400 Hz aircraft power to 28 volt d-c power required by a nuclear weapon to perform safing and arming operations through Relay Panel RYK-13/A24B-4(V) as required b

31、y Control-Monitor DCK-143/A24B-4(V). 3.5.2 Weight - The weight of the transformer-rectifier shall not exceed 6 pounds, 13 ounces. 3.5.3 Content - The transformer-rectifier shall contain the following components. (1) Power Relay - A power relay shall be provided to apply 115 volt, 3 phase, 400 Hz pow

32、er to the primary of a transformer, when energized by 28 volts d-c. (2) Transformer - A step-down transformer shall be provided to convert 115 volt, 3 phase, 400 Hz primary power to 21.6 volt (+2.5 - percent) line-to-line, 3 phase, 400 Hz output power. Output Filter Circuit - An output filter circui

33、t shall be provided to filter the transformer output to supply 28 volt d-c power with a maximum ripple of 1.5 volts when loaded with a 2.3 ohm resistor. Input Filters - Input filters shall be provided to reduce radio frequency interference. (3) (4) 3.5.4 Electrical Characteristics - The electrical c

34、haracteristics of the transformer-rectifier shall be as indicated in the following paragraphs. 3.5.4.1 Output Voltage - With an input of 109.5 to 116.5 volts, 3 phase, 400 Hz, the output shall be 28 volts d-c nominal and 29 volts d-c maximum. 3.5.4.2 Load Conditions - The transformer-rectifier shall

35、 be capable of sustaining an output of 10 amperes with a voltage of 23.5 volts d-c or greater. 36、l be such that within 1.25 milliseconds after the pulse loads listed in table 1 are applied, the voltage available to the load shall equal or exceed the value listed, and shall remain at or above this value for a minimum of 2 milliseconds. During application of the pulse loads, the interference cont

QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for Inspection - Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplie

38、r is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified, the supplier may .utilize his own facilities or any commercial laboratory acceptable to the Government. inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed

Preproduction tests shall include environmental tests in accordance with the procedures of MIL-T-5422 and interference tests in accordance with MIL-STD-461. 4.2.3 Preproduction Approval - Approval of the preproduction sample shall be by the procuring activity

45、 upon satisfactory completion of all tests. No production equipments shall be delivered prior to the approval of the preproduction sample.
