3、EQUIREMENTS . *- 3.1 Item description. The AN/ASM-607(V)l shall differ from other MLVs in that this configuration will allow interfacing with the AN/ASN-gl(V) or AN/ASN-glA(V) avionics computers on-board the A-fEITA-7C aircraft. 3.2 Item identification. The AN/ASM-607(V)l shall be manufactured in ac

The operation of the MLV is controlled by software installed on the Tape Transport Unit (TTU) by the procuring activity. With this software, the AN/ASM-607(V)l is capable of performing the following functions. 3

The self-test software is designed to measure MLV system readiness and consists of a power-up built-in-test (BIT), interface test, display test and Magnetic Tape Memory (MTM) test. conjunction with the OF-65/ASM Test Set Adapter Group (TSAG) hardware, faults are detected to the MLV s

Tests include a memory test, interface circuitry test, central processing unit (CPU) test, magnetic rape memory test, and display/keyboard test. 3.3.2 Diagnostic tests. First article tests, quality conformance tests and acceptance tests shall be performed in accordance with the requirements of the latest issue of MXL-T-85413(AS) and the contract.
