This specification covers air-diaphragm-operated control valves complete with their associated instrumentation. 1.2 Classification. Control valves shall be of the following types and compositions as speci

Type II - Single-seated, direct piston balanced, Type III - Single-seated, piston balanced incorporating an equalizing Type IV - Double seated, semi-balanced. Intermittent bleed instrument is an instrument or instrument system which only exhausts or bleeds control air to atmosphere when it is necessary to decrease the control valve actuator pressure. Under steady load conditions where there is no change in actua
