The valve stem stuffing box and gland shall be designed so the packing may be replaced while the valve is under pr
49、essure. Packing shall be of a plastic type, either moulded rings or continuous strip, containing asbestos fiber and graphite, and shall be suitable for use with halogenated refrigerants. Equally effective material satisfactory to the command or agency concerned will be acceptable. 3.7.3 Gaskets. Retained type gaskets shall be used in all seal caps to prevent loss. Bonnet gaskets shall be made of compressed asbestos fiber m
