REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Preproduction sample. Unless othemtse specified in the contract or order,

7、the preproduction sample shall: (a) Be manufactured using the procedures proposed for the produc- tion lot. (b) Consist of one assembly. (c) Be tested as specified in Section 4 herein and is for the purpose of determining that, prior to starting production, the suppliers production methods are capab

8、le of yielding items that coinply with the technical ,requirements of the contract. 3.2 Basic requirements 3.2.1 Contractor-furnished data. Data shall be supplied for preproduction and periodic production samples; however, no data is to be furnished with the deliverable production lot , unless speci

9、fied herein or in the contract or order, 3.2.2 Materials and treatments of materials and parts. Unless otherwise specified herein, or in the contract or order , all materials and treatments of materials and parts used in the manufacture of the assembly shall be in accord- ance with DL 2540850. The assembly shall meet the following performance requirements when subjected to the t

11、ests of 4.5, 4.6, and 4,7. 3.3.1 input voltage. The assembly shall meet the performance require- ments of this specification with a -40. O IO. 5 vdc input applied to Pl-11 and Pl-12 (negative) and Pl-7 (common). 3.3.2 between Pl-3 and P1-4 (negative) and Pl-7 (positive), shall be adjustable from 18.

12、5 1.5 vdc to 31.5. 1.5 vdc. This adjustment shall be made by a 500-ohni potentiometer connected between Pl-5 and P1-10, with the arm of the poten- tiometer connected at Pl-14. Output voltage. The output voltage, across a 54hm load connected 3.3.3 amperes maximum. Current limiting. The output vo3tage

13、 shall be current limited to 8. O 3.3.4 Output voltage regulation. The output voltage shall remain within 10. 5 vdc of adjusted voltage from no load to uality conformance tests and examinations of 4.7. These samples shall be subjected to the tests f 4 6, at an activity designated by the procuring ac

14、tivity. Periodic production sampling shall be as follows: (a) Step 1. .Upon initiation of production, randomly select 1 unit from each group of 20 units. Upon satisfactory compliance of samples selected from 3 consecutive groups, proceed to Step 2. Each sample so selected shall be numbered consecuti

15、vely, starting with Sample Number 1. (b) Step 2. Randomly select 1 unit from each group of 50 units, Continue with Step 2 for the balance of the contract or until a defective unit is found. Each sample so selected shall be num- bered consecutively , starting with a sample number one greater than the

16、 highest sample number selected in Step 1. 4.3.2.1 tests and examinations specified, is found in any group, acceptance of all units on hand shall be withheld and the contractor shall: Defective units. When a defective wit, a unit that fails to meet all the (a) Determine the cause of the defect. (b)

17、Submit to the procuring activity for approval, a complete failure analysis and the proposed corrective action to prevent recurrence of the defect. (c) Submit to the procuring activity for approval the proposed retest program to verify that the corrective action eliminated the defect. (d) Take the ne

18、cessary actions to correct or eliminate the defect from all units on hand and, if so directed by the procuring activity, from those units previously shipped. (e) Return to Step 1 (4.3.2 (a) and proceed as indicated when inspec- tion is resumed. 4.3.3 Quality conformance sampling. The tests and esami

19、nations specified jn 4,7 shall be conducted on each assembly to be delivered: therefore, there shall be no sampling plan for acceptance. Defective units shall Se rejected. 4.4 Test conditions. Unless otherwise specified, the assembly shall be subjected to tests under the following conditions: (a) Te

21、 . - M1-+82!568 (OS) 4.5 Preproduction tests. The preproduction sample shall be subjected to the environmental tests of 4.5.2. Prior to and immediately after the preproduc- tion tests, the assembly shall be subjected to, and satisfacfnrily complete, the quality conformance tests and examinations of

22、4.7, Certified inspection data covering the results of preproduction tests shall be forwarded to the procuring activity, Certified inspection data shall consist cf the following: (a) Date of tests and names of persons conducting tests. (b) Test plan. (c) Serial number of the assembly. (d) Results of

23、 preproduction tests (4.5.2 through 4.5.3). 4.5.1 Preproduction test equipment. The following items of test equipment are required to perform the preproduction tests specified herein: (a) A vibration table capable of applying vibration as specified herein, (b) A shock testing machine capable of appl

24、ying shocks specified herein. (c) A humidity-temperature chamber capable of applying the humidity, temperature, and life tests specified herein. (d) Mounting fixture as shown in figure 1. (e) Items of test equipment specified in table I. 4.5.2 Environmental tests 4.5.2.1 Vibration. Install the assem

25、bly in the mounting fixture and rigidly attach the mounting fixture to the vibration table, Vibrate the assembly in ac- cordance with vibration schedules contained in Standard MIL-STD-167 with exceptions specified in 3.4.1, 4.5i2.2 the mounting fixture to the shock, test machine. Subject the assembl

26、yto the mechanical shock schedule contained in Specification MIL-S-9 01, with exceptions as specified in 3.4.2. Shock. install the assembly in the mounting fixture and rigidly attach . 4.5.2.3 Temperature. Subject the assembly to temperature tests, both oper- ating and nonoperating, as specified in

27、Specification MIL-E-16400 for Class 4 equipment, 4.5.2.4 Specification MIL-E-16400. Humidity. Subject the assembly to the humidity tests contained in 4.5.2.5 MIL-E-115400. Class 4 equipment. 29、-V-g2568(0S) i 4.6 Periodic production tests 4.6.1 Periodic production test equipment. Tie items of test equipment, specified in 4.5.1, will be required to perform the tests specified herein: NOTE Periodic production samples that are to be subjected to accelerated life tests of 4.5.2.5 need cot be s

30、ubjected to the temperature tests of 4.5.2.3. 4.6.2 Periodic production tests. After satisfactorily passing the quality conformance tests and examinations (4.7), each odd-numbered periodic pro- duction sample shall be subjected to vibration tests (4.5.2. l) and temperature tests (4.5.2,3), and each

31、even-numbered periodic production samplei shall be subjected to shock tests (4.5.2.2) and humidity tests (4.5.2.4). in addition to the vibration and temperature tests, the first, the fifth, and every fifth peri- odic production sample thereafter shall be subjected to accelerated iife tests (4,5,2 5)

Unless otherwise specified, the sample shall be deemed a defec- tive unit if, subsequent to the periodic production tests, it does not pass the quality conformance tests and examinations. 4.7 Quality conformance tests and examinations. Unless otherwise specified, each assembly delivered under cont

33、ract shall be subjected to the tests and examinations specified herein. A report form is provided in the appendix for recording quality conformance test data. 4.7.1 Acceptance criteria, Failure of the end product to pass any exanii- nation or test of this section willautomatically classify the unit

34、as nonconform- ing. When nonconfo.rming units are corrected by the contractor, the unit shall be reinspected. The reinspection of a nonconforming unit may be limited to the test or examination which defined the nonconformance or, when so directed by the cognizant inspector, a complete re-examination

35、 and retest of the unit may be required. Nonconforming units, which have not been corrected, will be con- sidered for acceptance only upon formal application by the contractor to the procuring activity via the cognizant Government representative. 4.7.2 Quality conformance test equipment. Items of te

36、st equipment listed . in table I are required to perform quality conforniance tests specified herein, All items of test equipment shall be of sufficient accuracy and precision to permit valid performance of required tests, Test instruments shall be Cali- brated at regular intervals. Procedures for a

37、nd results of all calibrations shall be subject to approval of the cognizant Government inspector. Items having equivalent characteristics may be substituted where necessary.
