Where the size of the fitting does not permit complete marking, markings shall be permitted to be omitted in the following sequence: catalog number, trade size or trade size and metric designator, and material designation. Markings shall be molded, hot-stamped, or applied to fitt

18、ings by any other suitable permanent method, such as printing. Where markings are recessed, they shall not cause cracks or reduce the wall thickness below the minimum specified in Table 1. 6.1.2 Long Elbows and Other Bends Markings on long elbows and other bends (defined as greater than 24 in. 610 m

19、m in overall axial length) and all straight lengths of conduit shall be on the product and shall comply with the permanence requirements in clauses 19.1-19.7 of UL 651A. 6.1.3 Short Elbows and Other Bends Markings on short elbows and other bends (defined as not more than 24 in. 610 mm in overall axi

20、al length) need not be on the product but shall appear on the smallest unit packaging used for the product.
