The TIA was processed by the Technical Committee on Liquefied Petroleum Gases, and was issued by the Standards Council on August 1, 2013, with an effective date of August 20, 2013. A Tentative Interim Amendment is tentative bec
3、ause it has not been processed through the entire standards-making procedures. It is interim because it is effective only between editions of the standard. A TIA automatically becomes a public input of the proponent for the next edition of the standard; as such, it then is subject to all of the proc
4、edures of the standards-making process. 1. Revise 6.12.9 to read: 6.12.9 Where emergency shutoff valves are required to be installed in accordance with 6.12.2, a means shall be incorporated to actuate the emergency shutoff valves in the event of a break of the fixed piping resulting from a pull on the hose.
