In order to produce valid results, this testing requires a high level of fidelity in emulators/simulators used in place of missing componen
3、ts.Recommendation(s): The ISS Program should ensure that high-fidelity simulations of on-orbit components are used in the MEIT and that the configurations of those simulators are validated to be in agreement with what has actually been orbited.Evidence of Recurrence Control Effectiveness: NASA concu
4、rs with the recommendation. The node emulator for MEIT I was built as certified GSE as was the Lab Emulator for MEIT II and III. Emulator design requirements include the emulated flight articles ICDs to the elements under test in MEIT. Activation/Validation and integrated testing confirms emulators
5、meet the emulated flight articles interface requirements and compares emulator performance with the flight articles performance in similar testing. The primary objective of these tests is to certify the emulators act like the flight article for the interfaces under test. The emulators are under conf
