3、mes caught each other off-guard.Lesson(s) Learned: Roles of respective public affairs representatives would run smoother if their respective charters were agreed to in the Contingency Action Plan and the representatives were either co-located or in closer contact.Recommendation(s): a71 Identify the

4、accident investigation board public affairs representative as early as possible because they become the official spokesperson for the entire Board. The Board and NASA public affairs representatives should agree on who should release what kinds of information to the public and what concurrences shoul

5、d be required.a71 Pursue violations of that agreement (leaks). Follow leaks back to the source and have appropriate action taken to enforce the rules.a71 Have a designated person handle Congressional inquiries sent to the Board and coordinated (not approved) with NASA.
