QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS4.1 Responsibility for InspectionThe vendor of the product shal
23、l supply all samples for vendors tests and shall be responsible for the performance of all required tests. Purchaser reserves the right to sample and to perform any confirmatory testing deemed necessary to ensure that the product conforms to specified requirements.4.2 Classification of TestsAll tech
24、nical requirements are acceptance tests and shall be performed on each lot.4.3 Sampling and TestingShall be in accordance with AMS2371.4.4 ReportsThe vendor of the product shall furnish with each shipment a report showing the results of tests for composition of each heat and stating that the product
25、 conforms to the other technical requirements. This report shall include the purchase order number, heat and lot number, AMS5555E, nominal size, and quantity.4.5 Resampling and RetestingShall be in accordance with AMS2371.5. PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY5.1 Packaging and Identification5.1.1 Wire and ribb
26、on shall be supplied in coils or on spools of a type and size agreed upon by purchaser and vendor.5.1.2 Coils shall be individually wrapped with waterproof paper or packed in waterproof drums. 27、r label marked with not less than the manufacturers identification, purchase order number, AMS5555E, nominal size, and quantity; boxes or drums shall be marked with the same information.5.1.4 The product shall be prepared for shipment in accordance with commercial practice and in compliance with app
28、licable rules and regulations pertaining to the handling, packaging, and transportation of the product to ensure carrier acceptance and safe delivery.5.1.5 When the procuring activity specifies that the product is for welding, packaging shall be in accordance with AWS A5.02 (See 8.4).6. ACKNOWLEDGME
29、NTA vendor shall mention this specification number and its revision letter in all quotations and when acknowledging purchase orders.7.
