USE LIMITATIONS5.1 Engineering TolerancesThe operating thickness of this lubricant averages from 0.0003 to 0.0005 inches per lubricated surface. This thic
45、kness seldom requires alteration of established clearances between moving parts. There is one exception. The lubricant coating thickness must be considered in the case of small parts that normally operate with very little clearance. The cured lubricant film is relatively soft and any interference pr
46、oduced by the thickness of the lubricant will cause rapid wear of the lubricantfilm to the point where interference is eliminated.5.2 ApplicationAS5272 lubricant shall be applied in accordance with this specification and manufacturers recommended practices over surfaces that have been pretreated in
47、accordance with this specification, unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order.6. ACKNOWLEDGMENTAn applicator shall mention this specification number in all quotations when acknowledging contract or purchase orders.7.
