11、ction and pressure drop test is to be conducted using a minimum of three points, 80%, 100%,and 120% of rated air flow (use element restriction test setup shown in Figure 2). Condition the unit to betested at least 30 min under temperature and humidity conditions equivalent to those in the test area.
12、To determine the resistance to air flow, particulate holding capacity, particulate removal efficiency, andsealing characteristics, use the equipment described in Figure 2. For element configurations other thanpanel type, reference SAE J726.4.1.2 Use a dust metering device (Figure 3) which when used

25、und and Optimum Performance GuidelinesOperator enclosure filters for off-road self-propelledmachinery are utilized to prevent dust and other airborne particulates from entering the operator enclosure(cab). The filter is usually placed upstream of the air circulation fan, air conditioner evaporator, a

The optimum design will filter incoming air without sacrificing operator comfort. The most c

The data collected by this

Variations in actual fieldoperating conditions are difficult to duplicate; however, with the procedure and equipment set forth, comparisons of air filter effectiveness can be made.In the past, there have been

All of these designs have hadone objective, to provide uniform dust loading throughout the entire area of the filter. The performance characteristics of greatest interest are air flow restriction or pressure drop, particulatecollection efficiency, and particu

These test recommendations are defined under aircleaner test code SAE J726; however, the test shroud configurations defined in SAE J726 are notapplicable for operator enclosure filter comparison.Relationship of SAE Standard to ISO StandardThis document is technically equivalent to ISO
