6、r the sampling of footwear components and materials other than leather 1 Scope This standard specifies a method for the sampling of rubber and footwear components and materials. 2 Definitions For the purpose of this document, the following definitions apply. nominal subject to the tolerances normal
7、to good manufacturing practice 3 Method of sampling Unless otherwise specified, take a nominal sample for chemical and physical testing as described below. 3.1 Rubber The size of rubber samples should be as indicated below. 3.1.1 Direct moulded footwear Take a sample of 500 g of raw rubber. 3.1.2 Pr
8、e-moulded soles and heels Take a sample of 500 g of raw rubber, or six pairs of soles of size 8 or larger, or eight pairs of soles or heels of the largest available size. 3.1.3 Sheet rubber Take a sheet of size at least 35 cm 35 cm 3 mm and one of 10 cm 10 cm 1 cm. 3.2 Footwear components and materi
9、als Take a sample of at least eight stiffeners, 800 cm2of inner-sole material, 800 cm2of toe-puff material and 800 cm2of vamp lining.
