24、 while the subscribers call is in the 2-way state. Subsequently, the controlling subscriber can either answer or ignore the incoming call. If the controlling subscriber answers the second call, it may alternate between the two calls. CW does not impact a subscribers ability to originate calls. Appli

25、cability to Telecommunications Services CW is applicable to voice telecommunication services. 1.1 Normal Procedures with Successful Outcome Authorization CW may be generally available or may be provided after prearrangement with the service provider. CW may be authorized for the following options: T

CW may not be canceled or deactivated for a single call. Activation Demand. The subscriber is authorized to control the act

27、ivation and deactivation of CW. Permanent. CW is active while authorized (unless canceled). Deauthorization CW may be withdrawn at the subscribers request or for administrative reasons. Activation CW may be activated upon authorization. CW may be activated by a Demand Activation authorized subscriber specifying

29、a CW activation feature code, as in: *FC + SEND . If the activation is accepted, the system shall indicate success with feature confirmation treatment. Deactivation CW shall be deactivated upon deauthorization. CW Demand Deactivation CW may be deactivated by a Demand Activation authorized subscriber

30、 specifying a CW deactivation feature code, as in: *FC0 + SEND . If the deactivation is accepted, the system shall indicate success with feature confirmation treatment. Temporary Cancellation During a Call CW may be canceled during a single call by a Demand Cancellation authorized subscriber issuing

31、 a flash request and then specifying a CCW feature code, as in: *FC0 + SEND . If the cancellation is accepted, the system may indicate success with feature confirmation treatment and then reconnect the call. At the completion of the call, CW shall resume the activation state prior to using the cance

32、l CW feature code. Temporary Cancellation With a Call Setup Request CW may be canceled for a single call concurrently with a call request by a Demand Cancellation authorized subscriber specifying a CCW feature code and a termination address, as in: *FC0 + # + termination address + SEND . Alternative

33、ly: *FC + termination address + SEND is possible, if a fixed length Temporary Cancellation feature code is distinct from the deactivation feature code. At the completion of the call, CW shall resume the activation stat

35、e prior to using the cancel CW feature code. Invocation CW is invoked when a incoming call attempt arrives for a subscriber who is already engaged in conversation on a prior call, who does not have another call waiting, and who has CW active. Normal Operation with Successful Outcome The following ta

36、bles describe the call party actions and system reactions for CW. The CW notification is repeated once if the waiting call is not answered. Audible ringing is applied to the calling party unt

Go to the 2-way CW notification tate. sThe CW notification may be an audible Call Waiting Tone injected into the voice path, a message on the alphanumeric display, or both.
