Call Waiting Tones The Call Waiting Tones shall be a tone of 440 Hz at -13 dBm0/frequency applied for 300 ms 50 ms injected into the voice path toward the called subscriber. Dial Tone Burst A dial tone burst is used when dial tone cannot
25、 be removed after the first digit is entered. A dial tone burst is a 2 s burst of dial tone. Dial Tone Dial tone is used to prompt for entry of digits and is removed after the first digit is entered. Dial tone is a continuous tone of 350 Hz plus 440 Hz at -13 dBm0/frequency. Alternatively dial tone
26、may be a single frequency tone between 400 and 450 Hz. Confirmation Tone Confirmation tone is a short audible tone sequence that may be inserted into an engaged or busy subscribers voice channel to announce the systems acceptance of a request. Confirmation tone is defined to be three bursts of dial
